Hi ya fellas,

I was fed up with them old standard zero hour maps so I thought to myself "lets get creative".

I stumbled upon a problem that must be easy to answer for you veterans, here it is; "I want to add 6 positions for my multiplayer map, how do I do this? How to pick a position and what extra nifty *censored* do I have to do to make it work?"

Your question is posted in the C&C 3 forum but you mention Zero Hour so I'll answer with Zero Hour World Builder. Place a Waypoint using the Waypoint tool and name your start positions using the dropdown. If you're using C&C WB it should have something like the one for ZH.

So when I finished my level and I would host a multiplayer game online people will be able to choose their own position considering I have to select a waypoint and name it per team? Also, Where can I find the supply stashes and oil pumps. Are there any special configurations for the oil pumps etc.

About those ScortchMarks.. Why can I only place 2 and then the next ones have that grean yellow red objectcircle but the actual scorch is not visable.

Yes, if you've named your start position waypoints, players would choose their position and factions as you normally would in a game. Supplydocks and tech oilderricks are found in the civilian object folder under buildings. Not sure why you're having problems with the scorch marks. The only time I've seen somthing like this is when I've placed more waypoints than the game allows. I believe the limit was around 1800. You might wish to look throught the tutorial section of this site for map making ideas.

Found the oil buildings and such..!

though those scortch marks still aint working and did what the editor says, only have 18 waypoints on my map so far.. Maybe its because of vista?.. vista screwed up a lot of stuff on my pc!

Also, when I click "jump to game" the pc loads something but ends up doing nothing at all.. Know what I might be missing here?

Ya that jump to game has never worked as far as I know. Just load game as you normally would.
