ok so i just made this new map on C&C Generals Zero Hour worldbuilder, but every time i use it on the game, all the terrain is black and the only think i can see is a puny section of the map. Ive tried re-sizing the orange border, but i cant get the whole map. And the only space that i can get to is completly black.

What am i doing wrong?
Eh?

It sounds like you have the orange border down to the smallest size. You'll need to get it at the same size as the main one. To see the main border, press Ctrl+I to show impassable areas in red & it shows the main border in dark blue line. If you don't see a dark blue line, you probably don't have a border. Go to File > Resize... & add 50 to the border text field & click OK. Now make sure map boundaries are showing. Go to the View menu & make sure map boundaries are checked. If you see now an orange border, click on the border tool & click & drag the top right corner of the orange border & move it up aligned with the dark blue one.

If you are still stuck here, upload your map in a ZIP folder so I can check it out.

Hm... I can't download the file for some reason. Can you try uploading the file again. If it doesn't work, just send it to my email account. I'll send you my email address in a privet message to avoid email spammers from finding it.

[EDIT]
Okay, I got your email & have fixed your map.

I've also sent you an email incase you get an error downloading like I did. What was wrong was that you had the main border (the dark blue one) take up only a little bit of the map. The rest of the map was on the border. I resized the map so it looks good now. But in future if this happens, follow these steps:

1) Go to File > Resize & take not of the border length. (In your map, it was 190) Double that number & add it to the X & Y dimensions. If the border is abnormally large, like in your map, bring it down to 50. The anchor is in the right spot so go ahead & click OK. Then main border should now take up the map you worked on.
2) Turn impassable areas & map boundaries on from the View menu to make sure the borders are in the right spot. If you made a mistake resizing it, use the undo action & try again.
3) Use the border tool to adjust the orange border to be aligned with the main one.
4) Drag all the trigger & water areas back into place because this will put them out of place.

So that's what I did with your map. But I also noticed some other problems with your map.
1) The base areas are too small for the AI. Use the Civilian Structure, TempBuildingSize to know how big to make them.
2) The area, Combat Area should really be, CombatZone
3) You haven't named the outer base areas the outer perimeter names.
4) The waypoint paths for the AI are labeled wrong. You need to label the entire path, not just one waypoint. To do this, select any waypoint in a path & in the Waypoint Options window, put the name in the top text field of the Waypoint Path Labels" section. You should see the name appear under every waypoint name in red.
5) The waypoint names are, CenterN, FlankN, & BackdoorN. (N just meaning the start position number the path leads too.) Don't use decimal numbers as "N".
6) The waypoint paths needs to go into the InnerPerimeter area, not sure the OuterPerrimeter.

When you're done with your map, go ahead & upload to this site for publishing.

Could one of you please upload the file without any spaces, parentheses, or apostrophes?

Well the problem is resolved now, would you still like to see the map CommieDog?

But would spaces, parentheses, or apostrophes really affect the download?

If the problem that was the purpose of the original upload has been resolved, then I suppose there is no pressing need for another upload.

But would spaces, parentheses, or apostrophes really affect the download?

Yes. These forums don't translate such characters into URL addresses correctly, leading to faulty links.
