Okay then, but you still haven't told if you want to Paladin science avilable for the Air Force General's Generals Promotions menu. Never the less I'll give you instructions to do it.
1) Remove any of your changes so far.
2) Open the CommandSet.ini file & use the search funtion (ctrl+F) to locate the command buttons for one of the units you want avilable for the Air Force General & copy them into a black notepad document.
3) Find the command sets for the buildings you want the unit avilable on & paste the command buttons from the notepad document into the command set. Give it a number that isn't already in use. Here's an example command set for the USA barracks with a rebel added to it:

4) Now find the "CommandSet AirF_SCIENCE_AMERICA_CommandSetRank1" line & add the "Command_PurchaseSciencePaladinTank" for the 3rd command button slot.
Now you need to adjust the prerequisites:
5) Open up the INI files that contains the code for the units.
6) Once you find the code for a unit, scroll down to the prerequisites & delete them. For the Alfa Aurora, add, AirF_AmericaStrategyCenter to the line that has the SupW_AmericaStrategyCenter in it instead. But delete the air field prerequisite. So it should look like this:

I don't think you need to adjust the prerequisites for the Paladin Tank
