Does anyone know how to give the airforce general a paladin tank by editing the ini file? If so, please explain in detail😄

With FinalBig open INIZH.big in ZeroHour main folder than extract CommandSet.ini then move it to zhMainDir/Data/INI

Open it , press ctrl+F (notepad) and search for 'Air Force'

You will now see the first rank of sciences of Airforce general (paladin needs it )
Just bellow are lines that start with 1 = , 2 = and 4 = ; make a new line (space) between 2 and 4 and write > 3 = Command_PurchaseSciencePaladinTank ; copy and paste from here , must be exactly

Press Ctrl+F again and search 'Airf_AmericaWar' (without quotes)
In the CommandSet AirF_AmericaWarFactoryCommandSet (on the screen yes)
there are lines (numbers) from 2 to 14 so make an new line between AirF_AmericaWarFactoryCommandSet and line 2:
1 = Command_ConstructAmericaVehiclePaladin

Quit and save CommandSet.ini file and remember it shouldd be in ZH/Data/INI/CommandSet.ini , you are done
It sould work i am 90 % , beacuse i cant't test anything at the moment , having some mods installed

Stewox's method works, but you will be using the same Paladin that's on the basic USA side. You will have no control of anything over the vehicle that won't affect vanilla USA.

Then what still needs to be done , really i would test it if i could

mark, you're aiming a little low, since you're going to edit the .ini file, why not just give the air force gen the overlord tank and the scud launcher❓
now we're talking 😁

Are you ready?

You could even do a skirmish mission against the original USA (playing as GLA) and use "Jarmen Kell" to kill the driver. Then get a rebel inside the paladin.

He said specificly to edit the INIs so that he could just build it off his the Air Force Weapons Factory, not how to get a Paladin without being normal USA. Read please.

That's cause I learnt, in 3 months, how to read. Also, the time between your message above and this one gave me more skills in literacy.

Why do you get so anal over someone posting in a topic that ended before. I have some shocking news for you, this is a message board, and as long as the topic still exists, the discussion hasn't ended. As soon as someone posted a new comment, kablam, that topic is open again. Funny how that works. See unless you find some message board rule that says after the last comment is made you only have x number of weeks to respond or the thread is dead, then you need to take a chill pill.

Then please explain how the comment "I can't read" relates to the topic and how can the topic/discussion not have ended if the topic question has already been answered? If it was the topic creator giving some feedback or asking additional questions, then I don't mind. But just posting a short three word sentence that does not relate to the topic at all after the topic was already bumped off the page and has been three months since it was last active? I see that as pure spam and a meaningless post that serves absolutely nothing.

I replied because someone else replied, how hard is it for you to get that simple fact? I replied to a topic that's right on top of the topic list because someone else has just bumped it. I usually reply within one or two days and if I didn't notice it for a week or two, then I would've ignored it unless I had something that answers the question of a previous poster within that topic and that I know the poster is still active within the forums. And you really need to learn to read the dates on some of the topics.
