Hi, this sounds stupid, but do you need the game to install Worldbuilder for C&C 3❓ I'd like to mess around with it to get the feeling of things, until I get a new computer with all the requirements (so I can finally play C&C 3, which cost $50😠). Please answer this VERY stupid question!

Yeah, I know, that was me. The only reason I went on here is because it seems like no one wants to tell me any thing when I post my own, so I came on here.

Yes, you will need C&C 3 for the assets. You could buy C&C 3 and then use world builder until you get a better PC, I guess.

you need more memory than min spec if you want to do anything more than lag, I have min spec and I just can't be bothered to wait for it to stop flashing 'windows virtual memory too low' and lag. luckerly I am getting some more memory at the weekend so my game won't keep crashing 😃

I haven't seen anyone post with the same issues I am having.

I have the WorldBuilder installed (that all went fine) ... but when I try to edit a map thru the MapManager, or fire it up directly, it doesn't load.
I have reinstalled the worldbuilder several times, and it always does the same thing :(

I have to bring up the task-manager to close it, and it always says .. "Program not responding"
Any ideas or suggestions?

Here's what I get.. everytime :(

I just tried it again, and let it sit there for a good 15 minutes or so, just to see what it did on it's own.. and this is the error message I got (in text):

No idea. Might want to reinstall worldbuilder.

World Builder can certainly take a long time to open - sometimes several minutes. I haven't seen anyone with that error message, though. You don't have DeeZire's Wall mod installed by any chance, do you?

I have tried several times to re-install the WorldBuilder, and everytime I try to open it... it freezes up, or I get errors 😞

I guess I just wasn't meant to make Über maps 😎

One thing you could try perhaps is disabling any anti-virus programs you have running while attempting to launch World Builder. There's a chance this will make it load faster, and it might even get rid of that nasty error.

Just a guess, though.

I appreciate the help, again, MicScoTho ... but I don't have any anti-virus programs installed on my gaming rig 😮
I wish I did though, cuz that would be an easy fix.
