At a secret research installation, Yuri has been working on a special weapons program, using Bio-Engineering and Hi-Tech nanoprobe enhancements.
However, something went critically wrong during the testing phase, resulting in the near destruction of the base and surrounding island complex.
Yuri had to leave his base, but the weapons test subjects remained, eventually colonising the surrounding islands.
He didnt leave his base totally unprotected so keep an eye out for some surprises.
There are four major continents, with several smaller islands situated around them. Ore and Gems are found in many deposits, though some are much harder to extract than others.
Anybody who is familiar with Final Fantasy will recognise the map, which is a faithful replica of the Final Fantasy 9 World map. I have added a few extra's of my own to spice things up.
This is a very large map, so ideal for intense land, sea or air battles. Plenty of places for ambushes and sneak attacks.
