If you know the circumference of the wheel you can calculate ho fast the wheel has to turn, if the object on which the treadtexture is applied is for example 30 long and in the uvw map the object is 3 for example(3 times the texturewidth) than you know that the texture travels 30 in 3 seconds, if you have a circumference of 15 for example the wheel has to turn 2 times in 3 seconds for it to be in sync with the moving texture. |

Nope im no genius, i am noob. You can develop a circlecalculator too, you dont need a higher math degree for it. Visual Studio and .NET Framework is all you need. |

He was told what to do by CommieDog. @Menard, isn't the second image showing that you've already succeeded to fix the treads & the tank's wheels on the side? For me, I see that is the thing which will take the most time. @Game, you actually gave him a wrong answer. You're could also mean "You were" :P No offense to anybody, please stop posting about that problem. |

Ok, I have zero experience with modeling, and I can't help with this, but I have to say this anyway... That is a really cool-looking tank. Anyway, carry on with your modeling. |

Bones, try making the bones be very very small so that they won't be seen in game, but still exist. Collision detection, do you mean that tanks crash with each other? |

So funny that our teenage moderators dont know the answers, but you guys are cool right, being a moderator, dont know **** about modding and have a big mouth, behave like you guys own the forum, block threads because you dont like the content, you fellaz annoy me, teenagers shouldnt be moderators because they handle out of emotion and dont think through their actions. So this old fart will give the answer, from his basement, again. Collision box: Make a box about the size you want and put the following data in gmax/renx, see pic. @menard, you are really talented with modelling... If you don't mind me asking, how much time do you spend on making a tank? |

Hey acid, can you make a video tutorial of skinning a tank (Your phenix would be a great example) from the scratch? I mean, while there is no skin on it, and it hadn't been skinned before. |
