Slashdot is reporting that Electronic Arts
profits fell 31% from last quarter. This is being blamed on, among other things, delays and consumer backlash. In addition, EA recently announced the
laying off of 5% of their employees, or about 350 people. All sources seem to indicate that no one at EALA, where C&C is based, was laid off.
