Yes... let's imagine a new general (please don't overpower him/her).

I will start... now you can also create yours.

Yuan Fang Tsung

Class: AAA
PLA General
Tactics: Flame Weapons.

Special features.

a. All flame units start with Black Napalm upg.
b. Nuke Cannon unavailable.
c. White Napalm upg (50% bonus to all flame weapons).
d. Red Guard is replaced by Flame Guard. Also, only one guard can be produced.
e. Battlemasters do area efect of damage, since they can carry small napalm shells (no firestorm though). This upg is researched at Prop Center at 2500 cost.
f. Dragon tanks cost 650, infernos 800.
g. Infantry cost slightly more (+50 to each excepting hackers).
h. Troop Crawler, Gat Cannon and ECM tank are 100 more expensive.
i. Carpet bombing produces firestorm.

Background.

Yuang Fang Tsung has been one of the few female generals in Chinesse army, that has been noticed in the PLA as one of the best and most evil of the guys there. She tends to use lotsa flame weapons and has developed several torture methods based on them. In combat, she tends to use lots of air power like an US general but just to provoque Huge firestorms to enjoy her and bur her enemies.

Awesome idea! The Flame General sounds like a great idea.

Here's one for GLA:

Tactics: Subterranean warfare, smuggled weaponry

Special features:

a. ALL GLA buildings now are entrances/exits for Tunnels, and act as a Tunnel Network would, without the machine gun.

b. Everything has a cost increase of 15% except for specialized units.

c. Hijackers/Saboteurs always cloaked.

d. Upgrade at the Palace to increase the capacity of a Tunnel by 10.

e. Tunnel Networks now have a grenade launcher mounted on them, and does damage comparable to a Scorpion Tank. Also can be upgraded with a SAM launcher for air protection. This is an individual upgrade.

f. Workers can now build Demo Traps that can only be detected by Dozers and workers.

g. Black Markets are invisible and can now generate a revenue of $30 every second.

h. GLA Holes left when buildings are destroyed are in invisible. Units can also be evacuated from them.

i. Anthrax weaponry is unavailable, except for the Toxin Tractor.

j. The SCUD Storm can be upgraded at the Black Market to fire missiles that reach their target quicker.

k. SCUD Storms can be individually upgraded to carry 18 Missiles. The upgrade is an individual one for $8000 and is lost if the building is destroyed.

l. Anthrax Bomb is unavailable.

m. Stinger Sites are unavailable, but RPG Troopers are comparable to Toxin's.

n. Radar Vans can still provide radar when inside a tunnel.

o. Fake SCUD Storm, complete with timer to fool the enemy. Missiles can be launched, but will not hit anything on the map, further fooling the enemy.

Im working on an small mod atm wich will make all the existing generals more interesting. When it's finished i might add some new generals in my mod. So good ideas in this topic can be used for it.

well... actually i was thinking on some modifications to flame gen...

Modifications.

a. No tanks...
b. She has a superdragon tank. It's thougher than normal one, and comes with 2 Tank Hunters inside that will fire from inside of the tank.
c. Gat tank cost normal.

If you like the modifications, please post them... if not, post them so i can keep my previous config (Fire Bmasters).

maybe just 20% more of firepower (no nukes though) on migs, as well as ECM migs instead of PDL ones (so they can dodge 75% of missiles fired at them).

These ideas are very good. I don't have much time at the moment and am only brainstorming but what if there was a new 'Espionage general' for GLA.

He/she would be kinda like the stealth generall except more specialised in infiltrating enemy territory and better at remaining hidden.

Something like:

cost to hijackers and jarmen kell reduced
snipers units such as Jarmen Kell have silenced snipers (can here them but noise is greatly reduced)
snipers can be upgraded with camo netting so they are not spotted when moving or firing
workers can be upgraded to be stealth when standing still (visible when building or moving)
mines are more deadly, quicker to build and cost less
no tanks
better + lower timer gps scrambler
jarmen kell can plant bombs (bit like old C&C commando)
new infantry placeable traps such as 'proximity bombs' etc

that's all I have time to think up now. But please try to add to it.

What about this?

GLA Terrorist General

Super Terrorist: LOADS of explosives, explosion like nuke cannon

Super Bomb truck: can be upgraded w/ small nuke and is faster

Stealth Terrorist: A normal terrorist that is weaker but can stealth.

SUPER ANGRY MOB: Just like normal except contains a garrison of terrorists as well.

All vehicles are just bomb trucks with a gun to help them get to the location of the desired BOOM

NEW POWER:

Kamikaze plane: A bunch of planes crash themselves into an area, so its like a carpet bombing

Terrorist Ambush : same as rebel ambush but with terrorists instead

New upgrade:
Fortified Will: Allows terrorists to hijack any vehicle, even when enemy controlled, and can hijack planes.

Terrorist Camp: Allows terrorists to run faster.

Forced Sacrifice: Workers can attack using a bomb like the terrorists, but weaker, to account for cost difference.

New Building:
Terrorist Site: Like a stinger site except Terrorists run from it and blow the f*** out of any land vehicle or infantry dude that goes its way, but can't attack planes

Terrorist Trap:
Like a demo trap except it is just a terrorist that is lying down ( does the same thing tough, just looks different)

Hey your Generals are hard to understand is it not possible to write your pages out like me and bladelord have done,, with class, tactics, special features and back ground,,,

If you got mixed army feathers you could make them other Generals,,,
Try to keep the army like in game,,,

I may have a next Gen coming up,, with emphasis on Ground war.. And a super car for burden,,,

Also could you imagine putting nuclear active material in a Humvee jeep!!! wont do, is too small would make the troops ill, and the unit highly explosive and totally fragile,,,

Docks-
Boats:
Fishing boats: Can hold two infantry or one vehical. Only infantry or artillary can shoot out of it. if you are desparate of money, you can fish, and it starts acting as a black market. Can dock. Cost:1500

Destroyers: Deadly long range. Also has a power to direct all of its cannons to a specific target. it appears on the bar to the right. Cost: 5000 (Requires Strategy Center)

Ferry - It can be built from a regular dock, which you gain control of it, or it can be built with a path between two special docks. If built between the two special docks, it has much more health, and its garrisons are not restricted by unit type or size.. Cost: 1500

Aircraft Carrier: This has sucha high health it will take much time to destroy it. It's also too slow to watch it move. Cost: 20,000 , 2 minutes build time(Requires Strategy Center)

PT Boat: Can hold five infantry, and only troops such as Rangers, rebels, or red guard can shoot out of it. Has a machine gun, and is very fast. Can heal troops inside of it. Cost:1000

New Infantry:
Officer: They are similar to pilots, but can only enter vehicles that can be entered regularly, are not used up, and don't give the unit a rank. They only bonus the vehicle. They are armed with a pistol. Cost: 800
Navy SEAL - They can swim, are stealth, and are armed with submachine gun (about as strong as ranger), C4, and a knife, although they unstealth for a moment when using the knife.. Cost: 1200
Colonel Burton - He can now swim.

Archer Apache is a former marine. On his first commanding task, he was the admiral of a small fleet. He quickly proved one of the USA's most valuable people, especially in commanding navy. He was quickly promoted through all the generals, finally becoming a four star general. He is stationed at an unknown location.

I like the idea of havin' the gen inside... however...

If he dies... can u resurrect him? What will happen to the exp points (remember that if he dies, he loses exp when resurrected, but if he does so will u as u are he... way too uncomfy to lose your promotion in a blink of an eye, don't u think)?

Now what i would suggest is to have a cheaper option. OK, he's a Hero and...

1. "His presence by his units gains them a damage and speed bonus"... well, this and healing.
2. He can enter any vehicle he wishes to (even Raptors). The aura effect will still remain, plus the vehicle will deal far more dammage and be 50% more resistant. Only the player knows which vehicle is the Gen's one.
3. He got a machinegun, Sniper, and is stealth.
4. He is really fast.
5. Cost: 5000.
6. You will not lose exp points, should he be killed.
