hi there all,
im new at Generals World Builder, I know something about scripting and stuff but not much (i did Final Alert for RA2, but this is much more diference
First things I'd like too know:

1)Is there a difference way of saving single player (missions)maps and multiplayer maps? At final alert it is but im not sure or it is with World builder also, or should i just save single player maps the same as skirmish maps?

2)I tried to make a good ocean, but that isnt working very well. I need the waves from the ocean that slowly floath up the sandy beach, but i dont see them and i dont know how to make them (now the water just "stops" as all other textures)

3)How to rotate the screen in Generals World Builder? Maybe a stupid and simple question but I serious dont know how (I already tried the most keys on my keyboard :S)

EDIT: I changed my 3th question for another one, because the question I asked before is not needed anymore (I know now why AI wasnt working)

Thanks, GrtZ SpZ

3) "SkirmishWorld" is not needed, "COMBATZONE" IS needed. And there is no space between "Centerpath" and "2"

For 1: No, unlike FA2/yuri you just save the single player maps normally but making them is different in some ways.

For 2: You can make rivers that flow in one direction but you can't make the water area create waves, it would just be too much on the engine and would make lag.

about 1), thats great Big Smile
but about 2), u are wrong, i read somewhere that it wasnt clear how :\. And when u start generals (ZH), than u see a repeating movie (at the coast) (when you are in the main menu). There u do see waves also from the see on the beach. Anyway, I'm sure its possible, but maybe u need to upload something? But what, how and where?

I've been looking through the EA maps that I remembered had waves, and I can't find anything that scripts or controls either...

I've never done it, but I know there's a utility that lets you create waves like that. Try http://www.cncgeneralswo...oads/modding/wakedit.zip .
