The official forums have had two main topics, Mechapede spamming and Blackhands manspamming.

I played Skirmish and tried to get the hardest opponent, Brutal Rushing Blackhand.
I was Reaper.

It seems like in KW, the Rusher AI NEVER does these two things:
1. Get Tiberium Spikes.
2. Researches upgrades.

---

Which means you can easily just sen undefended Assimilators all around the map to capture Tib Spikes in the beginning of the match.
And also that you can easily tech up and use tier 3 units.

I mean, manspamming without upgrades during late-game = Suicide.

I used 3 Mechapedes to destroy half of his base, during this time I was both out of Power and was getting attacked by Rocket Militants from two sides. I sold my Reactor and killed 12 Rocket Militants with the Buzzer. GG.

Finally I made 3 more Mechapedes (with disintegrator parts) and destroyed his base. The AI's manspam was chasing my Mechapedes round his own base.

---

Why is the Rusher AI not upgrading, not taking Tiberium spikes nor using Support Powers?
Is this made by design or is the AI broken?

I would have lost BIG time if the Blackhand had Black Diciples upgrade and Purified Flames.

Oh, they also ONLY spammed Scorpions (without Dozerblade upgrade). My Ravagers and Disintegrators eat them up easily.

PS: My 2 first wins against a Brutal AI. In 2 different maps.

Because training engineers for spike capture and researching upgrades uses valuable resources you could use to recruit bigger army and conquer you opponent faster. Its like playing cards (Ive played Yu-gi-oh), where you have to decide for certain strategy and stick to it, becouse any deviation from that strategy would automitically weaken it if you would try to do something it is not supposed to do.

Upgrades are a must. You can't rush with tier 1 infantries late-game without upgrades. A Brutal AI should know better.

All you have to do is place 1 Buzzer guarding your base and that's it.

And capturing Tib Spikes will in the end give you more money than that 500 you payed for the Engineer.

i really didn't tried rusher in KW before , i kind of hate rushes a lot .... but now I'm interested to see if that happens ,

Generally AI in TW/KW has really good advance in the AI tech(diff), (while is not really AI , it's just trigger / command)
