Hi fellow CNC enthousiasts,
(This is my first post, don't be too hard on me
)
So this is the story,
I decided to give the worldbuilder a go, after some youtube tutorials i got the hang of it, so i decided, F it, im gonna make a huge **s map. So i tried. I set the X-axis and the Y-axis both at 10000 (ten thousand) just to see how large it would be. The worldbuilder crashed. so i tried to start it back up again.
So when starting the shockwave worldbuilders it showed:
The EA tools end user license → Accept terms
The splash/loading icon from the ZH worldbuilder, can't do anything with that.
(That's what it normally also does, but then:)
The 'Object Properties' tab shows up. It says it's name at the top and show the edges but there's nothing in the middle and wow as im typing this exact sentence it actually fills with the normal tab oh my god that is amazing.
Now i get an Assertion Failure:
Quote:ASSERTION FAILURE; 0,
C:\projects\ZeroHour\code\Libraries\Source\WWVegas\WW3D2\dx8wr
apper.cpp, 210
Abort → exception; Retry→ debugger; Ignore → continue
I pressed Ignore:
"Ignore this failure from now on? → yes"
Then comes this:
Quote:Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: ...es\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour\Worldbuilder.exe
abnormal program termination
With only an 'OK' button → everything closes down.
With the story typed out, i just wanna make clear that:
-i've restarted my laptop
-i've tried re-installing SHW
-the ZH worldbuilder works, but there's so much other cool stuff in the SHW builder that i don't wanna miss out on
Thanks in advance for your replies, i really hope you can help me out
Cheers,
PjotrGDF
EDIT:
The ZH worldbuilder also stopped working... same error issues
