I made a new turret for the boss general so that she wont have to build two types of turrets(Gatling and Missiles), so I decided to make her a 'SUPER TURRET', a combination of anti-ground capability and anti-air capability, with it's own unique model.

It is two turrets in one. A Twelve-Barrel Cannon for anti-ground and anti-armor, with a smaller cannon with Anti-air capability.

Question 1: I may have accidentally used the original .png copies for the skins of my turret, it may be the reason why I can see parts of purple on the turret. Am I right?

Question 2: Is it really necessary to chain the TURRETEL(Turret Elevation), to the TURRET rather chaining it to the HANK(The Actual Turret shape with the barrels) part of the whole thing?

I got that idea of rotating turrets via hidden bone, from Overlords.

Question 3: Do I have to make the second turret a 'Portable Structure'?

Though I do think its excessive since the I want the whole turret to spin(with the second one looking up for the aerial targets.) when it attacks air units, plus its only kinda fair to have the turret focus on one target at a time.

In short, I don't want the second turret to be independent.
Though I'm free for suggestion if people demand the second turret should be independent.

.tga and .dds is the way to go - both work.
Q2
Dont get it. As long as TurretEL is below in the hierarchy stack, it should look and work correctly.
Q3
IF the 2 turrets are exactly on top of another, you can use Turret+AltTurret combo. If one's position depends on the rotation of the other, then portable structure is the way to go.

All problems are now fixed. I wish I can provide a screenshot but I don't have time.

Q1 - I did accidentally use .pngs.
Q2 - There are is a flat rectangle at the top of the CHASSIS of the building, I labelled it TURRET since it will become the swiveling part of the turret. I put the main 'Barrel Housing Unit' on top of it and chained it to TURRET, this the Anti-ground Cannon. The Anti-Air Cannon's 'Barrel Housing Unit' is labelled TURRETEL then I chained it to TURRET, I did this to make the Anti-Air Cannon aim for Aerial Targets, while the Anti-ground Cannon remains facing straight.

I fixed the problem, it I had to Adjust the Pivot Point. So that the Anti-Air Cannon doesn't go under the Building.

Q3 - I am now happy on how it works now. Though still open for suggestion if people want the Anti-Air Cannon to be Independent in Aiming and shooting, aka via Portable Structure. Now I can start working out the weapon system.

I know the skin is cartoonish... But Its intended only for the Boss General.
