I have created my own custom cursor quite successfully, but there is a problem. The cursor is designed like a Sniper Reticle. A circle with lines meeting in the middle. The cursor was made with 'IcoFX'. As said in it's title, it is more acustomed to making .ico files but it works rather well when making .cur (Cursors) files as well. Anyways, the main problem is that the center of the cursor (Where the two lines meet in the center) isn't where you actually click. This is very hard to explain in text, I just hope you see what I mean in this screenshot: Image Insert: 2.65 KBYou see how it doesn't start to drag out from the center of the icon. But from the top-left of it Please post back on this. I know this is a very inactive area of the forum.

i dont think you can change that. Most people just put a little mark in the upper left where the cursor actually drags from. |

Well I have to say that I am dissapointed.
I know it wasn't on the top of there 'To-Do-List' but I though Microsoft would have thought in advance that people would have wanted to make and modify there own cursors?
I really want to have my own Cursor. What good is it if I can't change the actuall point where you click?

Hm, you should be able to change the point where you click (but I have no clue how).
Windows has a cross hair "precision select" cursor where the click-point is in the middle. |

Yeah I know that but it's not really any use because there are different types of cursors that each have a specific function. The precision cursor is only shown when you are doing certain things, i.e your in Pain and dragging out a box or something.

But if you change your default cursor to be the precision cursor icon, the click-point is still in the middle - not in the upper left. |

Sorry guys, really sorry. Know you all have this hate for old Topic 'bumps'.
Anyways. Thanks for the link icewind. I have downloaded the program and it's great, just what I was looking for. That program has alot of really cool features, I can even make an animated cursor if I want!
You struck gold icewind!
Got my own cursor at last. Sure, it's not the most elaborate thought out in the world, but I can say that I made it myself!
