I have the origin ultimate collection edition of Red Alert 2 and
Yuris Revenge, and every time I try to play it is extremely slow. All
The ground troops walk, jets crawl through the air and tanks barely move an inch.
I tried uninstalling it and installing it again but it won't work, making me sad.
I do not to miss this historic event in gaming, so help me.Weeping
I own him

Is it constantly slow or just when something explodes?

Hmm... Well, I think it's worth a try anyway. Go to the game's directory and look for RA2.ini and RA2MD.ini. In both files (open them with NotePad), go to [Video]. For the entry of VideoBackBuffer, change "yes" to "no". If the entry does not exist, add "VideoBackBuffer=no" right under [Video].

Make sure you have a copy of both files before tampering with them in case the edit goes wrong.

I did that, then went back to skirmish to test it out, when I think all I had to do change the game speed!
I still did your trick though.
