Hi,

I tried to play this game along with my friend through the Multiplayer > Online. After the accounts were created, the game I created lists to my friend nicely, but every time I create a game, or he does, we do receive "cannot join game, different version" or something like this error message.
However, we both are trying to play Zero Hour, and we have updated our games from the same patch file to 1.04.

- The gaming environment consist 64-bit Windows 7, in which we run the game in Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode.
- Both of us have the uPnP routers with NAT and the games show up nicely, and connect to the online service
- The issue pops in when we press "join game" button at the game lobby

Any help for this is appreciated.

Unfortunately that does not solve the issue. It still keeps telling about wrong version.

Thanks: 9 times
not sure that I can help, but are the two games' languages the same?
does one of you have say "The First Decade" and the other the separate Westwood disc or?

"version" isn't always talking about patched updates...

I believe we both are running this sort of edition of the game:

The picture is of the game box cover.
