quick and to the point. I created many maps years ago when I had the disk of this game but have since downloaded the origin game and now my maps are not recognized by this new version. what is the the solution? If there is any interest in my maps I am more then happy to give them away. Edited by user Sunday, December 2, 2018 3:04:02 AM(UTC)

When did you install the origin version? And have you formatted your device after installing it? Even if you uninstalled zero hour, I think it asks you whether you want to keep user's content or not. If you haven't formatted your device and didn't remove user's content, you should find the maps in C:\Users\You\Documents as shown in the image below. You might have the folder named Zero Hour Data instead of Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data, mostly if you had a mod. If you find multiple data folders, check the maps folder in each of them until you find your maps.

It isn't a directory issue. I have the maps where they should go in fact I placed a map I did not create called "Noah's Flood Zone" in the directory the game crashes after the cinematic intro. I have seen some people speaking on a registry issue but I have not had to tamper much in there.I even attempted to open my maps with World Builder (from Origins DL) and they are not recognized there. I don't know what is causing this. Do you mind uploading your maps somewhere so we can check if the maps are causing the game to crash? |

I don't how or why, but once I placed your map into my maps folder in my documents, the game crashed and kept crashing. When I deleted the map, the game worked normally and didn't crash. |

Are you also running the Origins version of the game?
