The Twelfth Day of Christmas

First of all, I'd like to send out a big merry Christmas and happy holidays from the Generals World staff!  Second of all, I encourage everyone to read the following, despite this news post's length.

I've been hard at work, finishing this up for now, the last day of our special Christmas event.  If you haven't noticed yet, we've changed our top bar quite a bit.  I'll spend a second explaining it, just so that y'all don't get lost.  Most of the pages from our "Other Information" section have moved to our "Features" section.  A couple of the pages have been merged into other pages on the site.  Also, instead of having "Units" and "Structures" categories, we've reorganized our site to have categories for each of the three factions in Generals: the USA, China, and the GLA.  We've also added a "Civilian" section, which will describe some civilian/neutral structures in Generals, such as Oil Derricks.

Now for the treat for our visitors not in the GMPT.  I have completely redone the USA Units and Structures pages.  I had originally planned on redoing all of the content pages for each of the factions.  However, due to circumstances out of my control, among which being that there are only 24 hours in a day, I flat out ran out of time.  But what about the rest of the content pages?  Well, every other day or so over the next week or two we'll be releasing a new, completely updated content page.  Ah, more incentive to keep checking back here often.

The completely redone unit and structure pages include all of the units and structures for the USA.  They also list their upgrades and their special abilities.  Not only that, but the descriptions include each unit and structure's cost, as well as each unit's strengths and weaknesses.  If that wasn't enough for ya, I've also included all of the "icons" that you use to build each unit and structure with, and updated in-game screenshots of them as well.  This is now some of the most comprehensive Generals information on the web, so I encourage everyone to visit the USA pages and see for yourselves.  After you're done that, head over to this thread in our forums to post any comments, suggestions, or questions you may have.  Multiplayer Testers: Please post any errors you find.

Once again, happy holidays everyone!
