EA has released an exciting

Thankfully Electronics Arts knows the strength of the Dark Side is strong, and today announced that Kucan will reprise his role as the leader of the Brotherhood of Nod in the upcoming Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars.
Kane will appear in high-definition live-action cutscenes throughout the game which will propel the game's sci-fi story forward.
Kucan is back to play Kane. If this isn't exciting to you, you probably haven't played the previous C&C games. Gamespot made a very good comparison when they said that "Kane not being played by actor Joe Kucan is like Vader without the baritone voice of James Earl Jones".
This is an exciting next generation advancement for video games. Not only is live action returning, but it will do so in High Definition. No word as to what format the video will be in. Certainly the minumum required machines would be more than powerful enough to handle 720p h.264 however Bink Video (From Rad Game Tools) is also a possibility given that it's already been used in Xbox360 games at 720p according to Bink Video's site.
