As title. It works before and now it don't oh and It seems I have a little issue with old units that I am previously edit with a regular note pad. I can't change anything, I mean I can but they will do the same. Ex changing their health, locomotor, armor or any attribute or behaviou changes nothing.

The rest of them is fine after editing with the Notepad++

I have to get the csf file into .big everytime I altered anything to make it work. How so?

uhm mate str is much convinient than csf
.. just save your file as str ... "

***str*** file can be read by the game by putting it in finalbig after putting it on finalbig the proper directory for it is Data/here

So, curiously, is it necessary to REBUILD the .big file in order for maps to show up?

I'm using the CnC Ultimate Collection from Origin, not the original install from CD. There is no "MAPS" directory with the installation so where do custom maps go for this? I have tried every permutation:

The AppData folder, the default application directory, the user directory, the my documents directory ... nothing shows as far as custom maps when CnC RA 3 or CnC RA 3 Uprising is loaded ... just the default maps show.

SO ... is it necessary to ADD these custom maps to the .BIG file so they show up in the menu? If so, is there a process for this, is it just add the files to the FinalBig.exe app and save them back to the game directory?

Sorry if it's a dumb question, but after copy/pasting maps everywhere, I can't get them to load! Ugggg!!
