Two weeks ago, I have submitted a mission map for Zero Hour : The first GLA mission of Generals but you play USA
But, I don't have news about it
How long the approval will take ?

It takes as long as it takes for one of the maps staff to play it through and test it fully.
I have a couple of hours before I go to work today and I will try to get some done. But I will work from old to new and only have time for 1 or 2, it's unlikely I'll get to your map today. |

Make sure you put some triggers on it (innerperrimeter.. And so on... Playr positions.. |

What do you expect from a 15 year old game, almost everybody went on with other things, there are a few around but usually not very active.
The people who check the maps have other things to do I guess, maybe klingondragon can check your map if he is in the mood to do so but I think there are a few hundred maps before your map to be aproved...

I do want to be a map reviewer but the host rejected it... I am very well active and play generals actively... I dunno why am Not a good candidate Hope bilpaws approved it  Edited by user Wednesday, May 2, 2018 7:43:24 AM(UTC)

Well , All that I mean is that right now as we're arguing , we also do have a lack of Map reviewers .
I mean shouldn't they probably take some tests like "Take this map and report what do you think about it" ?
Of course a map reviewer shouldn't approve any map , specially those with a lack of quality .
And sorry to say this but "XJoueur50" , In my opinion your map has a little lack of quality ; You should work on some scripts , DAM {If you want it to actually show river's water , You should rename it to "GLA01"} and well some other things to work on . |

I said it before and I will say it again...The game is 15 years old and the majority of the people went on with other things.
I don't think the situation on the site will change positively, it will become worse and worse until the plug is pulled.
I cant see images anymore, i first thought that the links were facked but they are not, I think image support went down the drain to make the server cheaper to maintain.
I think that within 2 years it is bye bye cnclabs, an era will end for sure because cnclabs is one of the last sites standing.
Maybe you can start a thread where you post your map, the few people who are left can test your map and give feedback, I don't know how we can manage to get the map in the maps section but hey maybe it is possible to add the map if it has been proper tested by people who are still around...
