Hi there! Pretty much like topic says, How do I make AI stronger in skirmish maps, kind of like an extra difficulty of sort?
I have no knowledge of scripting. But I would like to learn some basics.
The small intro text (Im sure you know what Im talking about). In the left corner, just aobve the map. Make a message like: How do you do general?
Any help regarding these questions is greatly appreciated!

Regards!

Plain blank, nothing shows when I fire up the map. Its set to be active in 10.000 milisec. (10 sec.) but nothing happens?

Really just opened the map, pressed: edit -> new script -> your instructions, it appears to be in the neutral folder.

Your other question (make it harder): If you've couldn't create the string you aren't ready to edit the skirmish. Scripts and make the ai stronger.
No offence.

Scripting is a logical process
If x is true do y
The only hard bit sometimes is finding the script you want

Okay, guess I always pictured it harder than it might acutally is. But We'll see about that.. Is there any tutorials in here for scripting? - ''getting to know the basics sort of thing''.

As always I'll suggest prioritizing your game to a Minimum Loses strategy! bet you had bare difficulties trying to picture that, its as complicated as it gets, (I can beat a Brutal without any loses) He's a little pussy cat minus his 5 star promotion....

Key points:
1) Covering everything, defences with long range, long range with air....
2) Defend well to start; after 5th wave of Comp attack Go in....
3) Don't build too many units or defences Keep in 4's (4 patriots+4 Fire-bases) supported with units....
4) Utilizing everything available, Tanks, Humvees(+ troops), long Range with air support, And Counter Act any threat i.e Comanche's for Tanks, Tanks for AA and Humvee for troops....
5) Only take defences out with either long Range or Air....
6) Only using Tanks to secure positions, aggravate with light ground that goes crying to positioned Tanks when it get sticky.... Tanks are clumsy fighters?
7) Secure your position as you make your way over to the comps, keep regrouping units (don't let the lights get up front and heavies craw behind) brake the journey down into 3 parts and regroup; Tanks upfront, Long range/AA behind with Humvees buzzing around them, that hide behind the group when enemies attack....

Would suggest starting with Easy Armies!

Make it an operation, main objective being to secure your base and prepare a fully utilized army. A10's + SW to take out comps super weapon! until you attack....

I don't play no 40 minute game of wits i sit back with a beverage and coordinate highly tactical maneuvers.... 5 star style with over 25 years experience....

I think the idea was to edit the AI to make it harder. What you've given is advice on how to beat the hard generals.

It seemed to me you were giving advice on play style. If that's the case then you're not answering the asked question, else you need to be more clear what you're suggesting.

He did say the difficulty level was an issue; just using the brutal reference to help back my advice that weren't specific to beating a 'hard general' the Easy option Was presented. Suppose I could be seen as the resident Strategist,
Should put that under my title....
