There is like a bajillion Realism/Modern Warfare Mods out there.
And it is just Generals I'm referring to here.
I have no problem with them, they're pretty neat. The amount of detail and research they do is astounding.
But once, I, in my sole opinion, start playing the mod for the first few minutes I'm like: "That's pretty cool." But afterwards, it begins to feel underwhelming.
That's why I adore mods that stretch Reality a bit, 'cuz they tend to have: "Sure why not?" and "That's badass." Ideas.

Death Label: Reduced back to 3 main factions(and a couple of extras). Each faction can choose a(or all of them) tech-tree via General's Powers. Well Generals is a realistic warfare game, so it's relatively easy to add realistic content that fits with the game content.
Of course, if you design everything from scratch, then you can have things as absurd and outlandish as you want. As long as it's still balanced. |
