I want to be observer in offline skirmish and spectating AI war. But how to do that? I know i can just sell at the start of a game and be an observer. But how about 2 players map? I can't do that since i will be the third player (AI a vs AI b vs ME). Is there anything i have to change through .big file?

go to multiplayer (the one used in lan) then create game - after your in the game click surrender not quit game |

I think you can do it if you extract the map and edit it with worldbuilder to add a new waypoint and name it "Player_3_Start", then play it from the unofficial maps.

dude what i am saying is you need to create a game -- without choosing observer faction (just any faction you want except observer)
after that -- play and click surrender. |

after that -- play and click surrender. I understood that he wants it for two AI players, in a map which can only have two players. So he can't play and surrender as there won't be an opponent for the remaining AI player. Just clarifying,  |
