Ok so Im kinda getting back into the modding scene and I've noticed that sometimes when the AI uses a generals power, particularly the fuel air bomb or emp pulse, that sometimes the delivery plane will appear out of nowhere and not starting from the side of the map or from the command center like it should and I would like to know why that happens.

I've seen inside the INI files and saw that many generals powers like the fuel air bomb and emp pulse have CREATE_AT_EDGE_NEAR_SOURCE but it seems to me the AI likes to 'cheat' and use something different, either CREATE_AT_LOCATION or USE_OWNER_OBJECT but I'm not sure if they have anything to do with how the AI uses a generals power

That's a common issue several mods have it too - we never figured it out how to fix that in contra too

It's probably hard-codded in the game's engine
