My cat died today, he battled cancer and lost... He was my mate, when i was at the pc he usually was near me or lying in front of the keyboard... He already had cancer before which costed him a rear leg, this time he was without chance.... Once you get to understand animals you start to hate humans... I don't agree that once you understand animals you start to hate humans, but I offer you my condolences. As my username implies, I'm quite a fan of animals. It's always so difficult to lose a pet. |

Quote:I don't agree that once you understand animals you start to hate humans Nor do I. I would have posted sooner but I know I'd get hate for defiling such a sentimental post. Quote: It's always so difficult to lose a pet. I never found it difficult. My family has lost 5 pets. It's natural. We expect it and accept it. Most pets have shorter lifespans than humans. Perhaps this is the 'Stiff Upper Lip' The British are said to have, Perhaps I'm just a horrible human being.~ |

It's always so difficult to lose a pet. It's easy to misunderstand that sentence about starting to understand animals and hating humans, the unconditional love that you get from an animal is understood by only a few human beings and once you loose an animal who gave love on a level that only the "owner" can understand you will understand the sentense, maybe "hate" has a to heavy load but if you know what i meant you know what i mean... It's like i lost a family member ffs, feel like a pile of sjit...Well the bottle of booze also helps in the equation...Am very emotional atm... *edit I tried the stiff upper lip at the vet today but it just didnt work, i cried my f'ing eyes out and it felt good ffs... There's nothing better than a good cry.
I practically broke down a few months ago. The first time I'd cried in about 5 years. The culmination of: a year unemployed (failing to get any job), my friends all leaving for university (and not talking to them since), daily criticism from my parents over dinner, and having no one to talk to about any of my problems; made me break down and cry for 4 hours. I can't say I felt better that night, but the next morning was great. |

If you need help, post in the forum. You'll get help a lot faster than if you send me a PM.
I reject all buddy requests. I don't think 'buddy' needs to be made official. It's not like you're marrying me. |

Absolutely insufferable. Same...... That's why I'm afraid to get another pet, because I don't want to lose it and cry xD Sorry for your cat AcidBrain, I bet it was a great friend to you. (I also just recently had a dog that died from cancer) What was his name btw? Edited by user Friday, January 27, 2017 7:41:00 AM(UTC)

He was my mate, like a shadow he always followed me trough the house, when i took a shower he always sat next to me on the washing machine, when i went to bed he always jumped on my chest to sleep with me, had him for almost 18 years, got him when he was a tiny little kitten... I know i'm very late (understatement), but, my condolences to you AcidBrain. I know what it's like to lose a beloved pet, my dog had to be put down in 2013. I still miss him and wish I could just have him sitting in my room with me again, keeping me company and letting me pet him behind the ears. |
Any old friends still on here can add me on discord @jcdenton2187. I'm far more likely to respond there. |
