First time on this site so hello everyone, now that that's out of the way I have an issue.I just got a new computer and got back into playing command and conquer, I recently downloaded a whole mess of maps for both zero hours and generals and for some reason I cannot see them in my map menus. I don't know if there is something different you have to do to get the maps to show up on a computer running windows 8. Any information is greatly appreciated.

put the maps in the maps folder in you c&c data in your documents
eg for a map called "MyMap":
C:\Users\YOUR NAME\Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data\Maps\MyMap\MyMap.map
C:\Users\YOUR NAME\Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data\Maps\MyMap\MyMap.tga
C:\Users\YOUR NAME\Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data\Maps\MyMap\map.ini (if there is one)
etc.
then look in the unofficial maps tab in the skirmish map selector

tried that and theres nothing listed under the unofficial maps section.
