I've changed the fx for the color of the beam but it still comes out red.

How do I change the avatar's laser from red to green ?
Strange...as wonderful as it may be,I'm still...up here...floating...and no one even seems to notice.

I think the laser color is determined by the Avatar's LaserDraw module.

Thanks CommieDog.

I have tracked it down to the actual texture file so now I just have to experiment with the DDS format to get the correct settings when I save it so it will show properly in-game.

I will post an image if I get it to work.

Maybe I'm thinking of Generals, but I thought you could change the color of a laser through code alone.

Actually I found a texture called Tiberium Laser [or Lazer].
Once I switched this in the Particle.xml it worked.

I still have to figure out which is the proper save settings in the DDS format for the game to read because I want to change the color of other things.

I now also have buildable TibSpikes for GDI & NOD but I'm thinking of making a sort of bad side to building these.

PRO-you don't need an engineer to capture it and its protected inside of your base [I may give them their own defense cannons].

CON-they are expensive and when destroyed they leave a mess of Tiberium which you won't be able to build on that site.
